Intex has officially announced that they will launch India’s first smartphone featuring Mediatek’s Mt6592 Ture Octa core processor. The exact name of the handset is not known yet, MediaTek Will launch world’s first true 8 core processor this week. Zopo will be the first smartphone vendor to launch the first MT 6592 powered smartphone on 21 November.
The phone would be lined up in Aqua series or Intex may introduce new series for its upcoming smartphones (8-core).

Intex Octa core smartphone specifications
The phone would have 6inch HD display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution, 1.7 GHz OctaCore MTK6592 CPU and 2GB of RAM. For better graphics rendering and smooth user experience there will be Mali 450 MP 4 GPU clocked at 700MHz. The handset would have Android 4.2 operating system. The phone will have 13-megapixel primary camera and a 5MP front camera. The handset will be capable of recording full HD videos.
For better audio experience there will be Dual Yamaha 1420 speaker. The phone will have 2GB of RAM and 16/ 32GB of internal storage. The handset features 3G, HSPA+, Bluetooth, GPS, WiFi and micro USB with OTG support. The battery life of the handset is not known yet.
Intex true 8 Core phone will be launched by next month. Micromax and Karbonn would soon follow the same and will launch there first Octa core smartphones before next year.
